报告摘要:In this talk, we will review some analytical studies on the inertial liquid crystal models, such as Ericksen-Leslie and Qian-Sheng models. The key point is these models keep the inertial term, which make the corresponding system different with the usual parabolic system. It is a wave map (with target manifold S^2) type system coupled with Navier-Stokes (or Euler) equations. We discuss the well-posedness in classical solution framework, and the zero inertial limits. These works are joint with Yi-long Luo, Shaojun Tang, jiaxi Huang and Lifeng Zhao.
报告人简介:江宁教授本科毕业于南京大学,硕士毕业于中科院数学所,导师丁伟岳院士,博士毕业于美国马里兰大学,导师Dave Levermore,先后在纽约大学Courant研究所和清华大学数学科学中心工作,现在武汉大学数学与统计学院。江宁教授致力于动理学方程及其流体极限、液晶方程以及生物数学中非线性方程的研究。研究论文,发表在CPAM, ARMA, APDE, JMPA等国际一流杂志。
