报告摘要：The motivation of this paper is to investigate the joint distribution of succession and Eulerian statistics. We first investigate the enumerators for the joint distribution of descents, big ascents and successions over all permutations in the symmetric group. In order to extend a result of Diaconis et al., we show that two triple set-valued statistics of permutations are equidistributed. We then introduce the definition of proper left-to-right minimum, and discover that the joint distribution of the succession and proper left-to-right minimum statistics over permutations is a symmetric distribution. In the final part, we discuss the relationship between the fix and cyc -Eulerian polynomials and the joint distribution of succession and Eulerian-type statistics. In particular, we give a concise derivation of the generating function for a six-variable Eulerian polynomial.
报告人简介：叶永南 ，温州大学特聘教授。1985 年，获得美国纽约州立大学水牛城分部博士学位。1987年，台北中研院数学所副研究员，1991 年1 月~2021年7 月为研究员。曾任加拿大魁北克大学蒙特娄分部资讯与数学系研究学者，麻省理工学院数学系、柏克莱加州大学统计系和澳洲Monash 大学经济系访问学者。学术研究涉及到组合数学的多方面内容，还涉及物理化学、统计、经济等多个领域。曾任中国台湾数学推动中心主任，台北中研院数学所副所长，多次获得中国台湾中研院杰出研究奖，中国台湾科技部门杰出特約研究員，中国台湾科技部门杰出研究奖，中国台湾科技部门杰出研究计划奖。在国际SCI期刊发表论文一百余篇，最高单篇文章引用三百余次，多篇文章引用超一百余次（Google Scholar)，组合理论国际顶级杂志JCTA 曾出版专门文章介绍Yeh-species, 这个由叶永南研究员名字命名的领域。目前，叶永南研究员的研究主要在图的Tutte多项式及其相关组合结构、计数组合学中组合模型理论、陈氏文法、组合结构中的均匀划分等方面。 曾多次被邀请参加会议并作大会演讲 (1小时大会报告)，曾多次举办重要国际会议。
