报告摘要： In this talk, I will first give an overview of combinatorics on maps and hypermaps which is a topic lying at the crossroad of several research fields such as topology, algebraic geometry and mathematical physics. Then, I will report some of our recent work on the subject, including a unified approach for proving the celebrated Harer-Zagier formula, Jackson’s formula for one-face hypermaps, and explicit formulas for the genus distribution polynomials for two-face hypermaps and their log-concavity.
报告人简介：陈小锋，合肥工业大学数学学院研究员、博士生导师、黄山学者特聘教授。在美国弗吉尼亚理工大学取得博士学位，先后任职于华为、美国弗吉尼亚大学；入选安徽省高层次人才项目。主要研究领域为计数和代数组合与网络动力系统及其在生物数学和移动通信中的应用。已在J. Combin. Theory Ser. A, SIAM J. Appl. Dyn. Syst., SIAM J. Discrete Math., Adv. Appl. Math., Proc. AMS等期刊发表论文20余篇，出版通信技术著作1部，是40余项关于4G移动通信等技术国内外已授权发明专利发明人。
