报告摘要:
The purpose of this talk is to explain a global inverse function theorem for homogeneous mappings on R^n, along with the topological fact behind it. The main difficulty lies in the fact that such mappings are not smooth at the origin, making the known global inverse function theorems on R^n not readily applicable. The primary motivation for studying such inverses is their applications to the global invertibility of Hamiltonian flows, and further applications to the global-in-time construction of solutions to hyperbolic equations.

Mitsuru Sugimoto (杉本 充),现任日本名古屋大学教授,日本调和分析领域的学术带头人之一。主要研究领域是调和分析和非线性偏微分方程,在拟微分算子,模空间,半群的光滑效应估计和极小化子的存在性等领域做出了突出贡献,他于2015年获得日本数学会颁发的分析界最高奖励——日本数学会分析奖。Sugimoto教授在国际顶尖期刊Comm. Math. Phys.、 Adv. Math.、Math. Ann.、J. Funct. Anal.、Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal.、 Math. Z.、 Comm. Partial Differential Equations上发表文章多篇,他还担任J. Math. Soc. Japan、J. Pseudo-Differ. Oper. Appl.、J. Funct. Spaces等杂志的编委,是国际ISAAC协会的偏微方程执行委员。
