报告摘要:
By means of an asymptotic perturbation method, we study the initial value problem of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation with certain types of initial data consisting of parts of exact soliton solutions of the equation. The exact soliton solutions, referred as the KP solitons, are recently classified, and each soliton can be parametrized by a unique permutation, or chord diagram, of the symmetric group. We consider a dynamics of the chord diagram associated with the solution to the system obtained by the perturbation method. The system is given by a quasi-linear system, and in particular, we show that a singular solution leads to a generation of new soliton as a result of resonant interaction of solitons. We also perform numerical simulation of the initial value problem, and show quantitative agreements with the results obtained by the perturbation method.
专家介绍:韩光福,山东东营人,预备党员,山东科技大学硕士,山东科技大学在读博士。研究方向为可积系统中的孤立波和怪波理论。现阶段,主要在李传忠教授和Yuji Kodama教授的指导下基于Whitham调制理论下利用摄动展开方法研究KP孤子解的kappa-系统,并与数值模拟结果比较解释水波的动态行为。
